Quoted from the survey:
"The Rippling River Residents Association requested that the Monterey
County Health Department conduct a health assessment of residents at the Rippling River Apartment
Complex due to the Association’s concerns about the effects of ongoing disagreements
with the Housing Authority of Monterey County on the health of residents. The Health
Department created and applied a health survey instrument via door-to-door and
telephone interviews, as well as self-administration of the questionnaire to determine the
health of the residents."

For the last several weeks the fish in the Koi Pond at Rippling River are dying from no apparent cause. The victums are undergoing necropsy, a test to determine the cause of death. The information derived from this procedure will determine what can be done. Information on this tragedy will appear here as it develops.
I attended my first Resident Advisory Council Meeting on December 16, 2004 at 1415 Del Monte Avenue in Salinas. When the meeting was underway it was apparent the President, the Secretary, the Vice President, and the Treasurer were unfamiliar with parliamentary procedures and needed help to begin the meeting.
